Muffin's First Cherry Tomato

Look at my Muffin trying to figure out what to do with a cherry tomato. I actually posted a video but it turn into a photo instead. He was licking it, throw it in the air and let it drop and put it in his mouth and spit it out and playing with it like a marble. Oh so blogspot does not allow posting of video anymore?!?!?!?

Now a days I am busy teaching Muffin tricks. Even on facebook, most pictures and videos that I post lately are about Muffin. Can't blame me. My two sons are in their teens, even most of my nieces and nephews are in their late teens or early twenties. All busy with colleges and schools.

Guess I have gone to the next phase in life. When sons were young, I love teaching them stuffs and watching their reaction and listen to all those funny stuffs that they say. Now words from them sounds so adult, nothing so amusing like when they were toddlers saying and pronouncing certain words for the first time. I also love watching them take solid food for the first time. Their face expression and body movement are so funny.

Now with Muffin, those trills and amusing moments came back. Like having a toddler at home again. My advise to those folks whose children are getting out or are already out of the nest, go get a pet, preferably a dog. Like reliving those moments having young children at home. Provided you like children, if not a dog would be a burden to you.

Queen Control

This was taken at my neighbor's house. Their kitchen faces my kitchen. As I was washing dishes I notice this cat keep following the black with orange spot female cat (the cat that gave birth at my house last Chinese new year - refer to my earlier post). The cat is always following at a distance and when it goes too near, the female cat would growl and it would back off a bit. This had been going on for few days, like as if they want me to record it down.

Look at the video, the female cat decided to take a nap and the other cat just stand there and watch. Reminds me of some female who tread their boy friend / spouse like this. Queen Control. Are you the controlling Queen too? Hahahah.

Escape plan

Looks like my rabbit has an escape plan. He thought he could bite his way out. Every morning around 11, we would let him out of his cage to roam around the compound. Sometimes too busy we forgot and this is what he will do. Bite the steel bar till one of us let him out. He is 4 years old this year. He was born on April Fool's Day. His getting smarter by the day.

My Extraordinary Pet Fish

My pet fish thinks that it is a shark or a dolphin. He loves to have it's tail and fin above water. My husband said maybe he enjoy the wind blowing it's tail and fin. Had pet fishes for many years and this is the first time I came across such act. This video was taken few years back. My pet fish is in heaven now. Guess extraordinary person gets extraordinary pets and stuffs happening around me.

Rabbit Throw Tantrum

This is my pet rabbit. He was born on the 1st of April, 2006. Yeah, on April Fool's Day. Initially bought 3 rabbits as our 1st pet. Didn't learn more about rabbits and took those 3 cute rabbits home. Few months later found baby rabbits all over the cage. We had a hilarious time trying to figure out who was the mum. Luckily we got the information quite fast through the internet.

All his parents, brothers and sisters had short fur, except for him. So we decided to keep only him, the special one. The rest we gave it away to friends and some to the pet shop. We love him very much cause we took care of him since birth. I remembered he was the biggest new born compare to his siblings.

This is how he sleeps everyday. I find it weird. Even when I let him out during weekends, he still does this. He would find a nice corner in my garden and he will flip to his side with a loud thud. Does all rabbits sleeps like this or was it just mine. I felt he was throwing tantrum for not letting him out of his cage. Thank you for reading about my weird but funny pet rabbit.
